Best nutrition advice I have ever seen:
Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.
This guy is a fantastic journalist. He has a remarkable ability to take ridiculous technical information and boil it down to basic advice. I think the advice to shop around the outside of the grocery store (because all of the more processed and less nutritional foods are in the aisles, while the fresh produce and meats tend to be at the perimeter) can be sourced to him. If you haven’t read The Omnivore’s Dilemma, you should.

If you dig what Pollan said, you should check out, “In Defense of Food.” There’s also a great blog: crazysexycancer.blogspot.com and my.crazysexylife.com
It’s a lot about healing disease and maintaining a great life through food, food as medicine and a hell of a lot more. Some of the info can feel like it’s a bit on the edge and heavy on the estrogen, but this group calls Pollan King and sings his gosple. I dig it and have changed my eating since tuning into this group!
